This Sunday, we’re continuing our sermon series Acts of the Spirit! The church stands at the heart of empire, and it can be tempting to step away from the spirit and make a home among the powers of sin and death and everything that makes life less. But we are called to stand tall, to proclaim God’s reign of love, and to call even empire to abandon earthy power and embrace love!
