Sunday Worship: No Country but the Kingdom

Our home is in God’s reign of love; but we live in the world-as-it-is. And as long as we live in this world, we work for the good of this world. That is partly because our well-being is entangled with its well-being. And that is partly because it is by seeking the good here that we move ever closer to God’s will being done in earth as it is in heaven, until earth and heaven are one and God’s reign fills the world.
